MELTEM CERİT / DESIGN SPECIALIST
Meltem Cerit is an Interior Architect and the Co-founder of the Luminary Design & Engineering. She graduated from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and later from Işık University, establishing a strong academic foundation in interior architecture and spatial design.
She began her career in Istanbul as a freelance interior architect within the construction sector, focusing on spatial design, concept development, material selection, and functional planning. In 2020, she relocated to the Netherlands and continued developing her expertise in creating functional, balanced, and client-focused interior spaces.
In 2024, she co-founded Luminary with Furkan in the Netherlands, where She oversees the company’s design vision while also managing the operational side of the business.
FURKAN CERİT / ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR
With approximately 10 years of experience in the yacht/ship building industry, Furkan co-founded Luminary together with Meltem. During his career, he has taken on roles such as Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer, gaining extensive experience in the engineering and development of world-renewed yacht projects.
Alongside his technical expertise, he has developed strong communication and coordination skills, enabling him to act as an effective sparring partner for colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Within Luminary, he leads the operational side of the company, coordinating personnel, managing projects, and ensuring smooth execution of engineering activities.
